Applicants for Ordinary Membership must satisfy our assessors, officers, and regulatory staff that their organisation, services, and quality assurance procedures comply with the minimum operating standards required by IADL.

An Ordinary Member may acknowledge its IADL membership and display the IADL Logo on its website, prospectus, course-materials, course-completion or graduation certificates, and on other publicity or promotional material. It may use the statement:

"Member of the International Association for Distance Learning ".

Ordinary Members will be issued with a Certificate of Membership for the duration of their membership and are normally required to upgrade to Accredited Member status after the first year of membership.

Ordinary Membership DOES NOT confer IADL accreditation on the member institution or organization, and claiming or implying accredited status is prohibited.
